Stories That Shape Young Minds
At GoRead.pk, we believe stories can shape a child’s world. Our culturally rich, developmentally appropriate stories for ages 5–9 help little learners think, feel, imagine, and grow. Through joyful read-aloud sessions, children build strong language foundations while developing empathy, confidence, and positive character traits that last a lifetime.
We’re expanding our library for 10–16-year-olds to support young people through stories that speak to their realities, challenges, and dreams.

Join Our Volunteer Movement
Our volunteers form a nationwide movement of caring adults from all walks of life, bringing the joy of stories to children in underprivileged communities across Pakistan. When GoReaders gather with children around a story, they create a nurturing environment that boosts self-esteem, sparks curiosity, and inspires a lifelong love of reading.
By dedicating just one hour a week, each volunteer contributes to a ripple effect – reducing social divides, fostering a sense of citizenship and community, and building shared understanding across society.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any literate adult aged 18 and above can apply to become a GoReader. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who are passionate about reading and supporting children’s learning.
No. GoRead.pk provides training, story guides, and all necessary support. Volunteers simply need a willingness to read, engage with children, and create a joyful learning environment
Volunteers commit one hour per week for a six-week cycle. Special programs like internships may have slightly different time commitments.
We partner with underprivileged communities, trusted local organizations, and schools that lack access to quality reading resources. Our team conducts assessments to ensure programs meet local needs.
