Engaging male mentors to lead reading circles for young boys

The Boys Baithak Book Club, an initiative by GoRead.pk, creates a space where caring male adults from the community lead reading and discussion sessions for young boys – affectionately called Chotay Sahibaan.

This program empowers literate men to read stories aloud in their neighborhoods, helping boys in underprivileged communities become independent readers while fostering confidence, empathy, and self-expression.

Through joyful story sessions, Boys Baithak builds positive male role models, strengthens emotional bonds, and nurtures a safe, supportive culture of reading that encourages both literacy and personal growth.
